• When you arrive at Butler’s Orchard on November 23, follow the signs to the find the designated field parking lot. If you are familiar with Butler’s Orchard, parking is near the giant slide and concession stand.

  • Rain, shine, or snow, cold or hot, the race will go on!

Do i need to bring cash?

  • If you would like to participate in the Christmas Tree Raffle in support of all of our benefactors (and provided by Butler’s Orchard), be sure to bring cash! $5 for 3 tickets.

Where Do I Get my Long Sleeve T?

  • Shirts will be available at packet pickup on race day. Preferred sizes can’t be guaranteed for race day registrations or for registrations made after November 1.

  • Refunds are available by request and on a case-by-case basis 48 hours after a registration is purchased.

What is the 5k course like?

  • The course is considered a trail run. The race covers gravel, grass, and dirt paths.

How long is the kids run?

  • The "course" is approximately a quarter-mile and is suitable for all ages. We would like to purchase enough medals for our kiddos so pre-registration is required

Is the 5k race or Fun Run wheelchair accessible?

  • Due to the rough terrain, the trails are not easily accessible for wheelchairs, however, we have seen some tough mom and dads push strollers.

Will food be available after the race?

  • After completing the race, water, granola bars, and bananas will be available for all participants. In addition to post-race snacks, as part of their Holiday Open House, Butler’s Orchard will have food available (at noon in the Red Barn).
We are currently reaching out to additional vendors (food trucks) to be onsite. If you are an interested vendor, please visit our sponsor page

When does registration close?

  • Registration is available up until the start of the race. Day of registration will be available via credit card only (no cash or check). However, we cannot guarantee race day registrant shirts will be available.

Where does the money go?

  • The 5k Orchard Run supports passionate dreamers from the UpCounty area who imagine the world to be a place of love, justice, compassion, and provision. This year, we have selected 4 local groups to receive all the proceeds from the race. Learn more about the benefactors.
