PARKING

  • When you arrive at Butler’s Orchard on November 20, follow the signs to the find the designated field parking lot. If you are familiar with Butler’s Orchard, parking is near the giant slide and concession stand.


WEATHER

  • Rain, shine, or snow, cold or hot, the race will go on

WHERE DO I GET MY LONG SLEEVE T?

  • Shirts will be available at packet pickup on race day. Preferred sizes can’t be guaranteed for race day registrations or for registrations made after November 1. Kids participating in the Fun Run will receive a short sleeve T.


WHERE IS PACKET PICKUP?

  • Packet pickup is only available onsite on Saturday Morning starting at 9:00am.

WILL THERE BE A TIME FOR WARM UP?

  • Yes! We are very excited that Adina Crawford (Deanietheyogini), a certified yoga instructor, will lead a dynamic stretches and a full body stretch before the race. Be sure to arrive early to get a good stretch in!

WHAT IS THE 5K COURSE LIKE? 

  • The course is considered a trail run. The race covers gravel, grass, and dirt paths.

HOW LONG IS THE KIDS RUN? 

  • The "course" is approximately a quarter-mile and is suitable for all ages. We would like to purchase enough medals for our kiddos so pre-registration is required

IS THE 5K RACE OR FUN RUN WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

  • Due to the rough terrain, the trails are not easily accessible for wheelchairs or strollers. Neither will be allowed at the race..

WILL FOOD BE AVAILABLE AFTER THE RACE?

  • After completing the race, water, granola bars, and bananas will be available for all participants.

WHEN DOES REGISTRATION CLOSE?

  • Registration is available up until the start of the race. Day of registration will be available via credit card only (no cash or check). However, we cannot guarantee race day registrant shirts will be available.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO? 

  • The 5k Orchard Run supports organizations in upper Montgomery County .
